Professionalism * Teamwork * Education

Our employees are required to carry either a
residential or journeyman plumbing license or an apprentice certification
card issued by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries.
In compliance with Labor & Industries requirements,
employees are also required to complete 8 hours of continued education each
year. Kimco fulfills this requirement with in house classes and partially
reimburses participating employees. For other continuing education
opportunities, check out
www.anytimece.com or
www.citcwa.com.
Safety is a priority
at Kimco Plumbing. We provide safety training on hire and ongoing
safety classes with an open format to facilitate employee input. We
discourage drug use and reserve the option to conduct random drug screening
to ensure a safe working environment on our projects.
In this day of rising
costs, we are pleased to be able to offer our employees the following
benefits:
-Medical Insurance
through Regence Blue Shield
-Dental insurance
through Washington Dental Service
-Paid Vacations
-Paid Holidays
-Simple IRA w/ 3%
company match
Performance reviews
are conducted annually giving the employees the opportunity for improvement
and advancement. We encourage apprentices to complete the
education/training and licensing necessary to become a residential plumber.
